The 5-Step Encanta Application Method
Press-on nails get a bad reputation for falling off — but that reputation belongs to skipping prep, not to the nails themselves. Follow these steps and your set will last 10 to 14 days easily.
Step 1: Buff your nails. Remove shine with a gentle nail file. This creates texture for the adhesive to grip.
Step 2: Clean with alcohol. Wipe each nail with a cotton pad soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. Oil is the enemy of adhesion.
Step 3: Size each press-on. Match each Encanta nail to your natural nail before applying. You want edge-to-edge coverage with no overlap.
Step 4: Apply the adhesive tab. Press firmly at the cuticle and hold for 30 seconds. Work out any air bubbles from base to tip.
Step 5: File the edge if needed. Shape the tip to your preference. You are done.
Pro tip: Avoid water for the first hour after application for maximum staying power.
